Synopsis :

“Dans Les Meilleurs Délais” follows the journey of several refugees in their quest to repatriate their families to France. It brings us closer to them, their project, their history and their personal and family destiny. It reveals the intensity of their ties, their hopes, but also the weight of waiting and the psychological wear and tear of the sometimes years-long process, which can prove futile.
The documentary is based on several characters whose paths intersect and respond to each other. Through scenes of life, exchanges with the family, and administrative interviews, it alternates between intimate moments and Kafkaesque exchanges, despair and optimistic
promises. At the end of the road, everything is tended towards a single objective: that of being reunited with one’s family.
